Skin protection lotion

Rath's Multi Protect offers protection for various conditions and preventing substances such as oil, grease, dust, tar, varnish, paint and damp dirt from touching the skin. This product provides protection even when wearing glove; the fast-absorbing lotion protects the skin from moisture inside the glove as well as dusty dirt that can accumulate on the back of the hand from wearing, for example, nitrile gloves.

Product advice:

Skin protection products are subject to wear which is heavily dependent on the working conditions. The duration of the protective effect of Rath's Multi Protect lasts longest when in contact with oily, greasy or dusty dirt. The more your hands come into contact with water and any surfactants (cleaning agents) contained in it, the lesser the effect.

For work which mainly involves washing and cleaning solutions, we recommend Rath's Aqua Protect skin protection lotion.

Proof of effectiveness: Verification of the efficacy against lipophilic as well as hydrophilic toxicants in the BUS skin protection test.

Tested by: Dr Pittermann in collaboration with the Institute for Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmacy of the Veterinary University, Hanover.

Result: The effective protection performance of Rath's Multi Protect was verified through single and multiple applications of the model toxicants sodium dodecyl sulphate, n-octane and toluene.

Result: Rath's Multi Protect passed the dermatological inspections on humans conducted under specialist medical supervision with a 'very good'. No toxic-irritant incompatibility reactions occurred in the epidermal test according to international guidelines.

Storage and shelf life:

Rath's Multi Protect can be stored between 0 and 25°C and the minimum shelf life of an unopened package is 30 months

Using and dosage:

Rubbing in

Before work, carefully massage approximately 1 ml onto hands, especially around the fingernails and nail beds, then leave to dry.

At work

The dry, elastic and sturdy film forms an effective barrier between the skin and any potentially penetrating work substances.

Washing off

After work, wash the hands with the mildest suitable hand cleanser, then thoroughly rinse with water and dry.
